NEW GDPR
We hereby wish to inform you about the processing of personal data and to draw your attention to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into effect from 25 May 2018.
The GDPR not only strengthens the rights of the data subject, but will also result in the European standardisation of data protection law to form a common protection standard. The GDPR replaces the EU Data Protection Directive from 1995. The previously applicable German Federal Data Protection Act has been replaced by a completely new law. The new German Federal Data Protection Act builds on the GDPR and covers matters where the GDPR has inserted an opening clause.
In preparation for the new GDPR we have adapted various processes and taken measures to ensure a higher level of data security.
When processing personal data we give priority above all to the principles set out in Art. 5 GDPR.
What does the GDPR mean for you?
To be able to meet the information obligations according to the GDPR we have revised our privacy notice. You will find comprehensive information about your rights and our data processing procedures in the privacy notice.
