Scope

With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider.

The Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG) form the legal framework for data protection.

Gathering of General Information

With every access to this offer, information is automatically recorded by us or the web space provider. This information, also referred to as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

Among other things, the following is recorded: name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your Internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address.

Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely necessary. In addition, we use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files if we suspect illegal use of our offer.

Handling of personal data

Definition: Personal data is any information that can be used to clearly identify a person. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person.

This personal data includes first name and surname, telephone number and e-mail address. Information on hobbies, memberships and preferences as well as websites that have been accessed are also considered personal data.

This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider if this is expressly permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use and transmission of the data.

Registration on our website

If you register on our website in order to make use of personalized services, personal data will be collected. This includes the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as contact and communication data.

Registration enables access to services and content that are only available to registered users. If necessary, registered users have the option of changing or deleting the data specified during registration at any time. On request, we will of course inform you which personal data has been collected and stored. In addition, we correct or delete the data on request, provided that the request does not conflict with any statutory retention requirements. For questions and requests for correction or deletion of the data, please use the contact details given in this data protection declaration.

Provision of paid services

We request additional data so that we can provide services that are subject to a fee. This applies, for example, to payment details.

To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we work with encryption methods (such as SSL) over HTTPS that reflect the current state of the art.

Comment function

If comments or other contributions are written and published on our offer, we save the IP address, the user name and the time of creation. This data is collected for security reasons, since the provider can be prosecuted for illegal content (prohibited propaganda, insults, etc.), even if it was created by a third party. In such a case, the information is used to determine the identity of the author.

Comment subscription

If users of this offer subscribe to follow-up comments, they will receive a confirmation email. With this e-mail we ensure that the user is actually the owner of the specified e-mail address. You have the option of unsubscribing from comments at any time. You will receive information about this together with the confirmation e-mail.

Contact form

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we will save the information you provide in order to be able to answer your inquiry and ask any follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content

Our offer sometimes includes content, services and performance of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) therefore perceive the IP address of the respective user.

Even if we try to only use third-party providers who only need the IP address in order to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be saved. In this case, this process is used, among other things, for statistical purposes. If we are aware that the IP address is being saved, we will point this out to our users.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the Internet connection. We will not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent.

Cookies mainly fulfill two tasks. They help us to make it easier for you to navigate through our offer and enable the website to be displayed correctly. They are not used to inject viruses or start programs.

Users have the option of calling up our offer without cookies. To do this, the corresponding settings must be changed in the browser. Please use your browser’s help function to find out how to disable cookies. However, we would like to point out that this may impair some functions of this website and limit the ease of use. The sites http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (USA) and http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/ (Europe) allow you to manage online advertising cookies .

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as is necessary or prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the information collected no longer applies or if the storage period ends, we block or delete the data.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to request information free of charge about the personal data stored by us and/or to request correction, blocking or deletion. Exceptions: It is about the mandatory data storage for business transactions or the data is subject to the statutory retention obligation.

For these purposes, please contact our data protection officer (contact details: at the end of the data protection declaration).

In order to be able to consider a data lock at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a lock file for control purposes. If there is no legal archiving obligation, you can also request the deletion of the data. Otherwise we will block the data if you wish.

Change to our privacy policy

In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always corresponds to the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time. This also applies in the event that the data protection declaration has to be adjusted due to new or revised services, for example new services. The new data protection declaration will then take effect the next time you visit our website.
